Campaign Overview:

Location: Gold Coast, QLD

Timing: April – May 2025

Formats: Full Wrap, Megasides

Campaign Objective:Amplify Hard Fizz as official drink partner of the Out 2 Lunch Festival by creating cultural cut-through and social buzz via creative transit advertising and a live activation.

Brands today want campaigns that are felt, shared, and remembered. At GoTransit, we make that possible by turning transit into creative and dynamic real-world experiences.

Together with Hard Fizz, we did exactly that on the Gold Coast by delivering cultural cut-through and social buzz with creative transit advertising and an unmissable live activation, with a disruptive transit campaign tied to the Out 2 Lunch festival. Bold bus creative built anticipation, while a full-wrap “rave bus” featuring DJs Richy Penny and Nicka35 became a moving stage. The activation blurred the line between OOH and entertainment, fuelling FOMO, social buzz, and ensuring Hard Fizz owned both the streets and feeds ahead of the festival.

Campaign Results:

  • The Out 2 Lunch festival completely sold out across both days, cementing Hard Fizz’s position as a culturally relevant brand and official drink partner.

  • Influencer and owner‑driven content (including FISHER and Chloe Fisher) amplified reach nationally.

  • Major media coverage (News.com.au, Gold Coast Bulletin, B&T, Mumbrella) turned the regional bus activation into a national talking point.

1.3 m organic views across socials.

67 % engagement boosted by.

109 % lift in new followers.

Key Findings

Overview

  • Transit as stage: Turning a full‑wrap bus into a performance space converts OOH from impression‑based media into an experience that people film, share, and revisit.

  • Creative + activation = cultural cut‑through: Static reach from wraps plus the energy of live music drove both on‑street attention and social momentum.

  • Amplify with talent and press: Owner/influencer content and mainstream coverage scaled the local activation into a national conversation.

Testimonial

GoTransit absolutely nailed it for us. The wrapped buses gave Fizz insane presence across the Coast, and turning one into a rave bus was next level! It felt like the perfect mix of our brand and  the festival vibe. The whole thing went way bigger than we expected, so much so we’re lining up round two this summer.

GoTransit weren’t just a supplier, they got what we were about and helped us make it happen. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Conclusion

From anticipation‑building wraps to a live “rave bus,” this campaign showed how transit can double as a media channel and a mobile venue driving sold‑out results, social surges, and brand heat well beyond the route map.
