Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 is officially on the move, taking GoTransit advertising further than ever before. With even more opportunities to connect with audiences across the Gold Coast through high-impact, unmissable OOH advertising.

Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3 is officially live and operating. The extension adds 6.7 km of track and eight new stations, taking the G Link network all the way to Burleigh Heads.

The corridor now spans 27 km. For brands, that means greater access to some of the Gold Coast’s busiest lifestyle, tourism and residential precincts.

More kilometres, more audiences and more opportunities for GoTransit’s high-impact, 100% share of voice light rail format to be seen.

Reach the audiences that matter

From Helensvale to Burleigh, GoTransit’s Gold Coast Light Rail connects your brand with a diverse mix of audiences on the move.

Whether you’re looking to reach university students, frequent shoppers, tourists, locals, young people or growing families, the network offers a powerful opportunity to put your message in front of the people who matter to your brand.

Stage 3 adds eight new stations across Mermaid Beach, Nobby Beach, Miami, Christine Avenue, Second Avenue and Burleigh Heads.

GoTransit’s high-impact formats give your campaign an exclusive presence in key locations. If you want to stand out across the Gold Coast, this is OOH advertising that’s hard to miss.

Timing matters: When should you advertise?

Advertising around major events isn’t just about being visible on the day. The lead up can be just as valuable, as visitors are already planning where to stay, what to eat, where to shop and how to make the most of their time.

The Gold Coast is moving south

The opening of Stage 3 marks a significant shift in the Gold Coast’s transport landscape, strengthening connections between the city’s north, central and southern suburbs.

For advertisers, it also changes the geographic footprint of light rail advertising. Campaigns can now travel further into southern Gold Coast, passing through neighbourhoods and destinations that previously sat beyond the tram line.

As development, tourism and activity continue to build around the southern corridor, Stage 3 creates a new chapter for light rail advertising on the Gold Coast and an exciting opportunity for brands to become part of the everyday journey.
