GoTransit Media Group is proud to celebrate the appointment of Kirrily Hirst, Director of Sales, to the MOVE Board. Her appointment marks an exciting moment for GoTransit, transit media and the future of audience measurement in Australian Out of Home.

GoTransit Media Group is proud to celebrate an exciting milestone for our team, our business and the wider Australian Out of Home industry: the appointment of Kirrily Hirst, our Director of Sales, to the MOVE Board.

For GoTransit, this is a moment of recognition for a leader who has helped shape our national growth, championed the value of transit advertising and remained deeply committed to the future of Out of Home in Australia.

Kirrily has more than 15 years’ experience in the Australian Out of Home sector and has played a key role in expanding GoTransit Media Group into a national network operating across more than 115 markets. Today, she leads our national sales and marketing strategy, works closely with agencies and advertisers across the country, and contributes to the Outdoor Media Association Marketing Committee.

Her appointment to the MOVE Board comes at a significant time for the industry. As audience measurement continues to evolve, MOVE is helping shape how advertisers, agencies and media owners understand, plan and measure Out of Home with greater confidence. For transit media, this matters deeply.

Transit advertising has always had a special power. It moves with people. It travels through cities, suburbs, regional centres, shopping precincts, commuter routes and community spaces. It is seen in the real world, during real journeys, by real audiences. As measurement becomes more sophisticated, the value of those moving connections becomes even clearer.

Reflecting on the appointment, Kirrily shared:

“I’m honoured to have been appointed to the MOVE Board and especially proud to represent GoTransit Media Group. Celebrating 15 years in the out-of-home industry this week, it’s incredibly rewarding to contribute to a sector that continues to innovate, connect communities across Australia and take the lead globally in audience measurement.”

Kirrily Hirst, Director of Sales with CEO of OMA, Elizabeth McIntyre and GoTransit Senior Management Team.

In her B&T article, “We Talk About National Reach, But Are We Actually Planning It?”, she challenged the industry to think more carefully about what national reach really means. And her perspective is clear: national planning should not stop at capital cities. Regional audiences, commuter corridors and local communities deserve to be part of the conversation from the beginning.

It is a view that strongly reflects GoTransit’s purpose. Our network exists across Australia because brands need to reach people across Australia, not just in one postcode, one CBD or one media environment. From buses and taxis to light rail, transit media gives advertisers the ability to show up in the places people live, work, travel and spend time.

Kirrily’s appointment to the MOVE Board is an important step for GoTransit, but it is also a proud moment for transit Out of Home. It reinforces the role our format plays in building visible, measurable and meaningful brand connections at scale.

We are incredibly proud of Kirrily and excited to see her contribute her experience, energy and voice to the MOVE Board as the industry continues to move forward.
