GoTransit Media Group has appointed Tim Rossi as Independent Sales Director – Melbourne, strengthening its support for the city’s independent agency community. Tim brings local out-of-home experience and a relationship-first approach to GoTransit’s growing national network.
There’s a new face joining the GoTransit team in Melbourne and he’s ready to hit the ground running.
Tim Rossi joins GoTransit Media Group as Independent Sales Director – Melbourne, bringing local out-of-home experience, strong industry relationships and plenty of enthusiasm for helping independent agencies achieve more for their clients.
Welcome, Tim!
Tim joins GoTransit from Civic Outdoor, where he gained valuable experience across Melbourne’s out-of-home advertising market.
More importantly, he understands that great media partnerships are not built through one-size-fits-all solutions. They come from listening, collaborating and taking the time to understand what a client is trying to achieve.
That relationship-first mindset made Tim a natural fit for GoTransit.
“I’m really excited to be joining GoTransit at such an important stage of its growth. The independent agency market is built on strong relationships, collaboration and being close to your clients, so the opportunity to represent GoTransit on the ground in Melbourne really appealed to me.
“I’m looking forward to getting out into market, building on existing partnerships and helping more agencies understand how transit can play a valuable role in their clients’ media strategies.”
Tim will be GoTransit’s dedicated point of contact for independent agencies across Melbourne.

Why Melbourne, and why now?
Melbourne continues to be an important growth market for GoTransit. As our local network and advertising opportunities expand, having dedicated representation in the city allows us to stay closer to our agency partners and offer more responsive, hands-on support.
Michael Desiere, GoTransit’s Group Sales Director – Independent Agencies, said Tim’s experience and approach would be a great addition to the team.
“Tim brings a relationship-first approach, strong media experience and a real understanding of what agencies need from their media partners,” Michael said.
For us, Tim’s appointment is about more than growing a sales team. It is about making it easier for independent agencies to connect with GoTransit, explore new ideas and create effective campaigns for their clients.
We’re excited to have Tim on board and we’re sure many of our Melbourne agency partners will be seeing him very soon.
